Free Lancome Genefique Facial, EOTD: Yellow and Brown Smokey eyes, and Hang-out with Friends at Mall of Asia

Just a quick post for today! :)

Holiday is a perfect time for friends, families and some employees to unwind and get all the pampering they could get from the long days and hours of working.  Me and my friend, micah, took advantage of it today, so we went to SM Mall of Asia awhile ago to redeem the complimentary 15 mins. free Lancome Genefique Facial which we got from winning on their Facebook fanpage. Oh look! there's my namey! :)

Unfortunately, the Sales Assistant told us that the store has run out of stock of the product and free samples. I got really disappointed because I was thinking of blogging something about the experience. Yet, it wasn't available. I told the SA to contact their counters in Greenbelt or in Shangrila Makati so, by any chance, we could redeem there the free facial but she said that the phone number was both UNREACHABLE. Great, right? FYI, we just went all the way there in MOA from Marikina and then what? Yep. Get nothing. Whatta wasted day! sadface*

Since Lancome Philippines has not been responding with all the questions given by their fans/likers in their facebook fanpage regarding the matter, I am now thinking of contacting them through phone or E-mail to know if this "promo" really exists. Anyways, I'll just update you guys as soon as I hear from Lancome.

By the way, I wanna share to you my EOTD earlier.. just a simple blend of warm colors of eyeshadow from L'Oreal and Careline.. :D

To get rid of our disappointment, :P we decided to go shopping, grab some icecream and fill in our tummy with yangchow! LOL.. Oh, and by the way, my friend, Micah, got also a company (the girl wearing red shirt on the left side, with a pretty smile :D).. hmmm I honestly forgot her name lol, but she was nice and in to make-up too. :D We were actually planning to have a fun shoot soon so we could share more ideas about make-up, beauty, etc. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. :D

Woops, It seems like I was joking when I said that this is goin to be a quick post! LOL I believe it's my bedtime now everyone!

What about you? Tell me what's on your mind. :D

Thanks for reading!
Stay gorgeous, everyone! See ya'll on my next post! :)

Free Traveller's Make-up Bag at Watsons Personal Beauty Stores

Say yes to Freebies, ladies! :D

Don't you like getting something for free whenever you go out for shopping? :D They're like reliever from your extravagant spending on unnecessary items, right? :D  (alright, smile if you think those items fall under your NEED category! LOL)

I was at Watsons Store yesterday to buy some new stuff that I could use for make-up gigs. I've been actually eyeing JML ProCeramic Straightener for quiet a long time now and finally I was able to buy my own. I really love how it works. It straightens and curls at the same time. Pretty amazing. Anyways, let me know if you want a review on it, alright?  :)

Anyways, I have to give credit on Sales Assistant who assisted me yesterday in Watsons, Sta. Lucia Mall.
Some SA really annoys me a lot whenever I shop but this girl made a good job. I like her style.
She did not just sell her iron straightener but also introduced me to Watsons monthly freebie. And because she was an extremely good sales-talker, I was able to get a free traveler's make-up bag in pink! :D

It's really pretty in pink! (please forgive my make-up mess :p) Even though all of my cosmetics wont fit there, I am so glad that I can still use it for personal use. :)

How to get this freebie?

In case you are wondering how I get the freebie make-up baggy, you have to get a minimum purchase of 1,500php. You also have to include one or more of Watsons monthly featured products in your purchase. I wish I was able to take a photo or jot down their featured products so that you could see the lists but unfortunately, I got really busy getting my hair curled up by the SA. :D

Anyways, here are the things that includes my beauty basket. I got Marionaud's brushes, Elf mechanical eyelash curler, Ever Bilena Mascara Duo with Silicon Brush, JML, and Kojie San soap. I was so happy to know that Kojie San belongs to the featured products. As ya'll know, I am a number one fan of this soap. So, at that moment, I did not even think twice picking it up. :D

So, there! You can visit Watsons Personal Beauty Store to check out the list if you also want to avail their monthly freebie. Who knows, your favorite beauty tool might also include in their featured products. :)

What about you? What's your freebie experience? Share! :D

Thanks for reading one of my random happenings! Stay gorgeous ya'll!  :)

REVIEW: Ever Bilena Cream Eyeshadow

Hello everyone!

How's your day goin so far?

 The heat is killing me slowly these days here in Philippines. Argh.

Happy thoughts, anyways. :D This freaking heat won't stop me from going out and check out my fave stuff in the beauty world. (Agree if you also do. winks*)

Two weeks ago, I was thinking of buying a cream eyeshadow that I could use as a base for a more pigmented eye make-up look. So today, I'm going to give my happy and not-so-happy thoughts about Ever Bilena Cream Eyeshadow. If you are thinking of getting a cream eyeshadow, I hope this review can help you.

First, Take a look at the whole packaging..

I decided to get Sandra (set name). There are actually different color combinations to choose from but I believe that aqua and gold can create a youthful look on anyone. :)

Swatches

Now, It's time to review how it works! :)

My happy thoughts:

  • The colors are obviously well pigmented.

  • It can substitute your eyeliner.

  • 3 shades in 1. Affordable for only 95php.

  • It lasts LONG.

My not-so-happy thoughts:

  • The packaging sucks. It comes out with a three layered crappy containers with an applicator. I don't know how they call it but the head part of its container has no locking ring. It can easily slip off and mess up inside your bag or make-up storage.
  • And, yes! It slipped and the eyeshadow messed inside my bag because of it's crappy containers. Great. Grrr.
  • The long lasting effect annoys me a bit because it's really hard to remove. My ordinary make-up remover didn't work. Washing it with soap and water didn't work as well.  LOL! I prefer to use petroleum jelly in removing it.
  • It will give you a hard time in applying under a cold atmosphere because it gets hard and dries up so fast. It gets useless because you can't even take it out of the container. (Tip: Warm it first before applying.)

Repurchase?

Absolutely not.

Anyways, I was able to create two different looks using this cream eyeshadow..  ;)

Honestly, they have created perfect shades and pigmentation but I think they could phase this out and come out again with a more quality and good packaging cream eyeshadows.

Have you ever tried using cream eyeshadow as your make-up base? What did you use?
Share!

Thanks for reading! Stay gorgeous ya'll!  :)

REVIEW : Romantic Beauty Mascara (Glitter Mascara Review)

Hi everyone! :)

It's time to review the CHEAPEST yet GORGEOUS, glitter mascara I've ever found here on earth. :D

Come on, ladies! We are on our way to holiday season. Let's glitterfy not only the Christmas tree at home but also our lashes to get that glamorous and stunning look! winks*  ;)

Remember when I included this lovely mascara in my last haul, November's favorite? As you can see, I bought two shades of this glitter mascara. Silver and Gold.

See how it looks..

the brushes..

the pigmentation of colors..

Now, It's time to review how it works! :)

My happy thoughts:

It's very cheap. It only costs 57.95 @ Robinson's grocery store.

Sweet scented.

It has a very refined glitters which may not cause any irritation to eyes.

My eyes and skin didn't get irritation after using it as well as with my two friends.

Long lasting effect.

You can easily remove it by washing it out or using a make-up remover.

Fast drying. It doesn't flake or smudge.

My not-so-happy thoughts:

I hope the wand has more thicker bristles so it can coat fairly the lashes.

The packaging looks cheap. I think the lesser the flower thingy drawn on the package, the more classier.

Take a look at this vanity photos. With the help of my girlfriends, I was able to create a glam look using this mascara.

Snowy Smokey Eyes Make-up

Glamorous Green and Gold Make-up

Nevertheless, I am a happy and satisfied customer. I know it's crazy, but I am now planning to collect all the available colors and hopefully play with them again soon. I promise to post more about it.  :P

By the way, I'd like to thank my girlfriends, Jhoana and Anah for modelling for this review. Good job, ladies! :)

Have you ever used any glitter mascara? If yes, on what occasion did you wear it?

Thanks for reading, everyone! Stay gorgeous ya'll!  ;)

My Girlfriend's After-Break-up-Make-up Look :D

"Isn't it sad when there's too much pain in your heart, and the only person you want to talk to and can make you stop crying is exactly the same person who made you cry?"

Duh. I know. That love quote sucks. Really! :D

Breaking up is hard but it can be a positive experience if you allow it to be. Remember that crying over someone and depression is NOT sexy! :D But when you think of it as a learning experience, you will grow, become stronger, and you will definitely look more attractive! :D Yep, been there, I think that explains who I am now wink* LOLS :P

But who the hell am I talking to anyways?!!  LOL :P
Two of my girlfriends just had a bad break-up recently(makes me wonder if there's such a good thing in break-up :P). So being such a concerned gorgeous friend(which I really am :P), I found a perfect way to make these girls happy instead of committing themselves into suicide..  LOL (they're not gonna do that I swear :D) Enough of the break-up thing, alright? Let's do that make-up thingy! :D
Good thing I was able to convince my girls to give them some make-up make over. :D

Let me just give you some tips on how I did their eye make-up..

Meet my friend, Anah. She's wearing the "Dream Love Make-up". I'm inspired to do this look because I really find pink and purple eyeshadow very romantic and sexy while the hint of the shimmered sky blue on her lids calls for a calm evening. Her lips has a touch of rosy lipstick. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, here's Jhoana. She is wearing the "Dancing in the Moonlight" look. Again, I played with pink and purple tone on her lids and a hint of shimmered gray on her upper lid. With a hot pink lipstick, it makes her look more seductive yet playful.
For her second look, I used a shimmered turquoise eyeshadow on her lids. I also added black and shimmered gray on her outer lids and kinda smoked it out. It's more like a "sexy turquoise" look. I applied a hot pink lipstick on her lips as well.
Now, tell me who experienced a bad break-up?! LOL Don't worry girls, I'm not gonna tell your story. :P  I'm just happy to know that my make-up skill has somehow taken part of your moving-on process. :D We had so much fun in our make-up session so we didn't miss the chance to capture all the crazy moments.. :D
Don't you think make-up brings love and happiness? :)
Thanks for reading! Stay gorgeous ya'll! :)
Haul: November's Favorite!
I can't believe we're almost half way in November! I can now foresee the shoppers going gaga in different shopping centers to get all the good buys for Christmas! :D And tell you what, I'm going to be one of them few days from now for sure.. LOL!
Who doesn't like shopping, right?  Men?  False. They love it as much as we do. But the thing is, we all have our specific needs and wants. Men get what they think belongs to them. We get ours. Men are just impatient sometimes when us, girls, think so loooooooong before we deal.  :D
Well, I think that is what makes us more interesting. Ayt?  ;)
I wasn't really planning to buy any beautifiers this past two weeks (except the ones on my can't-live-without beauty regimen list) because I'm kinda saving my money for more important things. :p  But geeezz! I bet you know the feeling once you enter the mall and see lots of good buys! You just can't help it, right?! LOL Anyways, most of the stuff I bought are unbelievably cheap but in a good quality. Fair enough. :D
So I got 15 items to show you for now.  :)
Olay Total Effects 7 Cleansing Benefits in 1
Cream Cleanser
This is my first time to try this cleanser and it's amazing how it hydrates my skin instantly. I really felt weird with my skin lately like there's something going wrong with my face. It looks dry and old. :( So I didn't think twice getting this product when I went to the mall. It costs like around P200 in Robinson's grocery store.
A & W Wet & Dry Application Powder
Perfect Cosmetics
This application powder comes out with two shades, a compact mirror and a sponge applicator. The shades are white and nude. I bought this powder because I used the white one on my nieces who went trick-or-treating last Halloween. I got nothing but candies in return. :( LOL! But it's ok in the name of Love! :D If you want a more intense look, apply it using  a wet sponge. It goes really well. :D Price is P75.95 in Robinson's grocery store.
Ever Bilena Advance Cream Eyeshadow
I love the shades, they are very pigmented. I got gold, aqua blue, and a black. Well, honestly, I love Ever Bilena goodies but this one DISAPPOINTED me. A lot. I'm planning to give my own review for this very soon. It costs is P95 in Watsons.
Romantic Beauty Mascara
Who doesn't like a glittery stunning finish, sweet smelling, and very affordable mascara. :D I went crazy when I saw this so I grabbed two shades. White/silver and gold. I really can't wait to use this. Maybe in my tutorials. LOL It only costs P57.95. Isn't it a good buy? :D
Godiva Lico MAX Lipgloss
So aside from the awful dry skin experience, my lips got also dry and chappy. Applying petroleum jelly on my lips every night helped me a lot but I wanted something that I can use in daytime. This lip gloss is perfect for everyone because it has beeswax, vit C and SPF15. :D It also has the Licomax which helps to lighten up your lips. And surprisingly, you can also apply it on your nipples if you want a natural and pinkish tone. I'm sure that you wont get enough of it's cherry bubble gum flavor like I do. I'm so loving it now :D It costs P115 in Mercury Drug Store.
L.A COLORS Pressed Powder
This tan shade pressed powder gives a soft finish on someone who has a dark skin tone. I have used this to my friend who has a lovely tanned skin type and it looks perfectly on her. It also works for my face contouring because it leaves a hint of natural finish. I bought it for only P100 in Riverbanks Mall. Argh! I forgot the name of the store.
Ever Bilena Amethyst
I find this bronzer looks just perfect for any skin type. I so love the shimmer! It costs around a P100 at Robinsons
Miss Beauty UV Resistance BB Whitening Spray
Its product description says that it has natural plant nourishment, block UV damages for skin, high permeation, combine function of foundation, makeup base, and BB cream. Please let me know if you want a review on this. :) It only costs P75.95 in Robinsons grocery store.
Wet 'n Wild Super Jumbo Body Crayon
I love the shimmery silver shade of this body crayon. I bought it because I find it multifunctional. But I use it on my eyes a lot. :D It only costs P85 at Riverbanks Mall. VERY. CHEAP. :D
Nature's Valley Vitamin E
Hey, look what I found! I saw this repacked vitamin E from Nature's Valley at the same store inside the Riverbanks mall. Hmmm.. the store is not a certified drugstore and I don't like taking drugs or any vitamin that is not catered by a certified drug store. But I do trust Nature's Valley because they make healthy goodies for customers. I think I will just use this product for my DIY facial care. It costs P30/30 capsules.
Jordana Lipstick
Right at the same store in Riverbanks mall(yep! they sell lots of imported cosmetics and other beauty stuffs), I bought this mauve silk pencil lipstick. I so love the color and the pigmentation. It gives my lips some kind of a pouty look because of its silky texture. It costs P85.
Now, here are the lists of my "cant-live-without" beautyfiers..  :D
NIVEA Extra Whitening Cell Repair Protect
 Product description tells that it is specifically developed for the needs of Asian skin, offers concentrated whitening from nature for extra fair and radiant skin. its 50 times higher antioxidant Vitamin C concentration protects skin from the harmful effects of the sun even with frequent sun exposure.
So true. For almost 4 years of using this product, its consistency in giving me a smoother, fairer, and brightening my skin never fails. And even under the humid weather, like what we have here in the Philippines, I love the fact that it's not greasy at all when you apply it onto skin. It's really fast absorbent. :D
Olay Natural White Rich
So the reason why Watsons(i'm not sure with other beauty stores) had a buy1 take1 promo of this last month was because they repackaged. I hate the fact that I wasn't able to avail that promo! :(( Oh well, yep! Here's the new look of Olay Natural White. It still has its SPF 24, combined effect of fairness cream, spot remover, and moisturizer. And oh, they made it Rich! :D
I'm not really after with the packaging or if it's "Rich-er" than before as long as the product still gives me the same old result (more hopefully than it could give), then I'm gonna be a happy and satisfied customer. I think the packaging is now more classy which I find perfect for it's lovely customers like me. :P Same price as before, around P349
Twinings Green Tea Collection
Yep! I am a tea girl! :D I drink a lot of tea lately.. it's good for the body plus it's anti-ageing! (oh, the beauty freak in me! LOL) You should read my previous blog why I so love tea! :) click here.. It costs around P210
KOJIE SAN Skin Lightening Soap and Dream White Anti-ageing Soap
This is my all-time favorite lightening soap. I decided to buy the Dream White anti-ageing since I got 25 years of age last month. LOL! It's funny how I think of starting to use more anti-ageing benefited products. :( (beautyfreak! :P) Remember, prevention is better than cure! :D I know, we'll get old. But please, not now.. :D
So there, once again, those are my November's favorite! :) All the products are bought in the Philippine money (Php). And oh, please, please, please, be aware that these products may satisfy me and may be perfect on my skin but that doesn't mean that it may also suit perfectly on yours. :(
May I suggest to everyone to do a patch test product first on your arm(or feet) before using any kinds of product specially the ones we apply on the face. Wait for 24 hours after the patch test. If your skin gets any irritation, redness, or itchiness, then skip using the product. Always find the one that befriends your skin.
Anyways, what's in your favorite list this month? Share! :)
Thanks for reading everyone! Stay gorgeous ya'll!
Photoshoot Experience with the Ever Bilena Beauty - Ms. Diana Menezes.
Jinglebells*   :D
Halloween was over and yes, Christmas is coming to town! :D (too early I know! lol) Time just flies soooooo fast! And before you know it, you are unwrapping your gifts under the Christmas tree. :))
Speaking of gifts, :D Remember when I blogged about our winning moment in Ever Bilena Best Friend's Delight Promo? My pretty sister and I were finally able to experience and enjoy the photoshoot with the gorgeous Ever Bilena Cosmetic beauty endorser, Ms. Daiana Menezes! Yay! Now, this is what you call an early gift! :D
The shoot happened last month somewhere in Makati. I know, it took me a while before blogging this. Please, forgive my lazyness. :))
Oh well, moving on to our pictorial, here are some of the pics I've taken during the shoot. Please bare with my phone's cam. :( My digicam's battery didn't work for wth reason..  grrr.. bummer! Anyways, I hope these can still give you happy thoughts. :)
 My pretty sister, Joy. Totie(Ever Bilena's MUA) gets her ready for the shoot. :)
Hey, that's me! Taking photo using my phone's cam!  LOL
The Best Friends and Best Sisters!  :D
Oh, there's our beautiful Amiga! Guess what she's doing?? :D She was putting back her mole on her face with pencil liner! LOL She's really funny and charming! :D Her make-up artist concealed her mole but she wants to show it on the pictures! She believes that a mole brings good luck and anyone should consider it as an asset! What a lady! :)
Here's another pic of her before she poses on the camera. I liked it when I overheard her say about whenever she's asked by friends if what brand of make-up she's using, she would instantly show her make-up kit which includes Ever Bilena Cosmetics products. LOL! :D And she said, " Yes, I use it because the products are really good." I never thought that she's not only an endorser, but she also a brand's user. It's good to know that she believes on the product that she endorses. Good job. :D
Us. :D It's hard to recall how many times we are mistaken as twins and how many times I am mistaken for her. It's funny because she also have the same story. Gawd, do I look like 30ish?? hahaha! But the truth really is, my sister is waaaaaay prettier than me and she has unbelievably younger looking face! :D (Sis, I'm smelling a Starbucks coffee treat for this! lol) The thing is, I'm just hot. That's all I am. LOLS! :P
The red lipstick power with Ms. Daiana!  love, love, love! :D
Who kicks ass?! :D She's FHM's Cover Girl last October! :D So I didn't miss the chance getting her signature over my mag. She even gave my sister a copy of the magazine and signed it herself. She's soooooooo kind. :) My brother got really envy for not coming with us. :)) He hates make-up, yeah right. :p
see more pictures on their facebook page, click here. :)
Yummy merienda and coolers were served! :)
I have to give credits to their team because they were so accommodating. They treated us nicely and well. :) I'd like to thank the marketing manager, Niño Mas and the brand manager, Mark Charles Salecina for helping us experience such once in a lifetime moment. :D I hope there will be more promos to come like this :p And, also we'd like to thank their make up artists, Totie and Anna. They really did an awesome job. :) To Ms. Daiana Menezes, for having such a kind heart. She's really a sweetheart. I really hope to see her again soon. :)
Oh by the way, our pictures together with an article will be released on December in different magazines! (MOD magazine, Mega etc.) Yay! It's part of the Red Lipstick Promotion next month. How cool is that?! :D
Finally, the photoshoot bonding experience is done and yes, we went home wearing the alluring red lipstick and big smiles on our faces! We had so much fun together and we really can't wait to see that fun onto the glossy paper! :D
Thanks for reading! Catch y'all again soon! :)
