Cherished Moments

Oh my god. Feels like I'm dreaming while typing for this blog right now. :D

Yeaaaaahh. I know. It's been a while! The last time I wrote was like YEARS ago. I keed :p

Blog check: 4 months. Yes. It's been 4 months since I stopped blabbing here. :|

OK. Sorry. Tao lang lol but seriously, I really am sorry for not getting in touch with you ya'll. I know I created this blog to give you important beauty updates, or to whatever things goin around me but yeah, sweet busy months run over me. I've been a busy mom. And finally became a busy wife :D. Yay if you are one of those who kept the glow after the stressful days! Keep glowing! :D

Anyways, within that short span of time, I still can't believe good things happened. To give you some highlights on my busy days, we celebrated my son's Christening, tied the knot with my 5year relationship, went to Palawan and etc.

Alrytie, let's do the photo sharing! :D

First of, I did my son's personalized invitation card. ;)
(this was done in Picnic and Photoscape.)

at Our Lady of  Abandoned Church, Marikina. My hubby is carrying our newly Christened boyby lab (it's a cute name for baby love :p).

Reception follows at Cafe Kapitan, Marikina. This is really a good spot because it's just located right along the Church where Nathan's Christening was held. Their interiors were amazing and they serve traditional  Filipino food which I think was excellent.

Thanks to my beloved sister Joy and my cousin RB. They were able to take care of the decoration and stuff inside the venue. You guys have done a good job! :D I swear, taking out all the balloons and decor, the place will remain in 1950's. lol :D

(the caption date is crazy, please dont mind it =)))

Nathan and Momy with my voluptuous :p cousin and Nathan's ninang, ate Aina. She's single. You can take her out. LOL love you te Ains.:)

with my long time BFF and Ninang, Jhoanna. She, too, is single. :D
oh btw, for EOTD, I'm wearing a smokey neutral eye make-up and mauvey lips from Ever Bilena. Channel foundation works really good.

posing with my hot moma girl friend and also, Nath's Ninang, Glecy. OMG. Yes. She's single too! Yay for single ladies! LOL

Look how we dressed-up! Classic 50's baby!  Love it! :D

Now, for my wedding :D, I honestly haven't uploaded our photos anywhere yet since we've been pretty much busy with our schedules, but because I've missed my blog so much, you guys can take a peak on one of our sorta wacky photos taken during our wedding day. :D I promise to upload all the picture soon, but really, not now. :*

Whew.. :D As much as I wanted to upload our photos during our Puerto Princesa Palawan trip, it'll going to be a loooooooong picture sharing moment. LOL! So let me just post another awesome blog for that including our vid clips next time. :D

In my upcoming beauty blog, I can't wait to share with you what's inside my newest make-up set from Prettypink Cosmetics. :)
I got two words for this.. HAPPY THOUGHT :D)

That's pretty much it for now. We are celebrating holy week here in the Philippines. I hope that everyone is having a blessed day.

Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Free Lancome Genefique Facial, EOTD: Yellow and Brown Smokey eyes, and Hang-out with Friends at Mall of Asia

Just a quick post for today! :)

Holiday is a perfect time for friends, families and some employees to unwind and get all the pampering they could get from the long days and hours of working.  Me and my friend, micah, took advantage of it today, so we went to SM Mall of Asia awhile ago to redeem the complimentary 15 mins. free Lancome Genefique Facial which we got from winning on their Facebook fanpage. Oh look! there's my namey! :)

Unfortunately, the Sales Assistant told us that the store has run out of stock of the product and free samples. I got really disappointed because I was thinking of blogging something about the experience. Yet, it wasn't available. I told the SA to contact their counters in Greenbelt or in Shangrila Makati so, by any chance, we could redeem there the free facial but she said that the phone number was both UNREACHABLE. Great, right? FYI, we just went all the way there in MOA from Marikina and then what? Yep. Get nothing. Whatta wasted day! sadface*

Since Lancome Philippines has not been responding with all the questions given by their fans/likers in their facebook fanpage regarding the matter, I am now thinking of contacting them through phone or E-mail to know if this "promo" really exists. Anyways, I'll just update you guys as soon as I hear from Lancome.

By the way, I wanna share to you my EOTD earlier.. just a simple blend of warm colors of eyeshadow from L'Oreal and Careline.. :D

To get rid of our disappointment, :P we decided to go shopping, grab some icecream and fill in our tummy with yangchow! LOL.. Oh, and by the way, my friend, Micah, got also a company (the girl wearing red shirt on the left side, with a pretty smile :D).. hmmm I honestly forgot her name lol, but she was nice and in to make-up too. :D We were actually planning to have a fun shoot soon so we could share more ideas about make-up, beauty, etc. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. :D

Woops, It seems like I was joking when I said that this is goin to be a quick post! LOL I believe it's my bedtime now everyone!

What about you? Tell me what's on your mind. :D

Thanks for reading!
Stay gorgeous, everyone! See ya'll on my next post! :)

My Girlfriend's After-Break-up-Make-up Look :D

"Isn't it sad when there's too much pain in your heart, and the only person you want to talk to and can make you stop crying is exactly the same person who made you cry?"

Duh. I know. That love quote sucks. Really! :D

Breaking up is hard but it can be a positive experience if you allow it to be. Remember that crying over someone and depression is NOT sexy! :D But when you think of it as a learning experience, you will grow, become stronger, and you will definitely look more attractive! :D Yep, been there, I think that explains who I am now wink* LOLS :P

But who the hell am I talking to anyways?!!  LOL :P
Two of my girlfriends just had a bad break-up recently(makes me wonder if there's such a good thing in break-up :P). So being such a concerned gorgeous friend(which I really am :P), I found a perfect way to make these girls happy instead of committing themselves into suicide..  LOL (they're not gonna do that I swear :D) Enough of the break-up thing, alright? Let's do that make-up thingy! :D
Good thing I was able to convince my girls to give them some make-up make over. :D

Let me just give you some tips on how I did their eye make-up..

Meet my friend, Anah. She's wearing the "Dream Love Make-up". I'm inspired to do this look because I really find pink and purple eyeshadow very romantic and sexy while the hint of the shimmered sky blue on her lids calls for a calm evening. Her lips has a touch of rosy lipstick. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, here's Jhoana. She is wearing the "Dancing in the Moonlight" look. Again, I played with pink and purple tone on her lids and a hint of shimmered gray on her upper lid. With a hot pink lipstick, it makes her look more seductive yet playful.
For her second look, I used a shimmered turquoise eyeshadow on her lids. I also added black and shimmered gray on her outer lids and kinda smoked it out. It's more like a "sexy turquoise" look. I applied a hot pink lipstick on her lips as well.
Now, tell me who experienced a bad break-up?! LOL Don't worry girls, I'm not gonna tell your story. :P  I'm just happy to know that my make-up skill has somehow taken part of your moving-on process. :D We had so much fun in our make-up session so we didn't miss the chance to capture all the crazy moments.. :D
Don't you think make-up brings love and happiness? :)
Thanks for reading! Stay gorgeous ya'll! :)
Photoshoot Experience with the Ever Bilena Beauty - Ms. Diana Menezes.
Jinglebells*   :D
Halloween was over and yes, Christmas is coming to town! :D (too early I know! lol) Time just flies soooooo fast! And before you know it, you are unwrapping your gifts under the Christmas tree. :))
Speaking of gifts, :D Remember when I blogged about our winning moment in Ever Bilena Best Friend's Delight Promo? My pretty sister and I were finally able to experience and enjoy the photoshoot with the gorgeous Ever Bilena Cosmetic beauty endorser, Ms. Daiana Menezes! Yay! Now, this is what you call an early gift! :D
The shoot happened last month somewhere in Makati. I know, it took me a while before blogging this. Please, forgive my lazyness. :))
Oh well, moving on to our pictorial, here are some of the pics I've taken during the shoot. Please bare with my phone's cam. :( My digicam's battery didn't work for wth reason..  grrr.. bummer! Anyways, I hope these can still give you happy thoughts. :)
 My pretty sister, Joy. Totie(Ever Bilena's MUA) gets her ready for the shoot. :)
Hey, that's me! Taking photo using my phone's cam!  LOL
The Best Friends and Best Sisters!  :D
Oh, there's our beautiful Amiga! Guess what she's doing?? :D She was putting back her mole on her face with pencil liner! LOL She's really funny and charming! :D Her make-up artist concealed her mole but she wants to show it on the pictures! She believes that a mole brings good luck and anyone should consider it as an asset! What a lady! :)
Here's another pic of her before she poses on the camera. I liked it when I overheard her say about whenever she's asked by friends if what brand of make-up she's using, she would instantly show her make-up kit which includes Ever Bilena Cosmetics products. LOL! :D And she said, " Yes, I use it because the products are really good." I never thought that she's not only an endorser, but she also a brand's user. It's good to know that she believes on the product that she endorses. Good job. :D
Us. :D It's hard to recall how many times we are mistaken as twins and how many times I am mistaken for her. It's funny because she also have the same story. Gawd, do I look like 30ish?? hahaha! But the truth really is, my sister is waaaaaay prettier than me and she has unbelievably younger looking face! :D (Sis, I'm smelling a Starbucks coffee treat for this! lol) The thing is, I'm just hot. That's all I am. LOLS! :P
The red lipstick power with Ms. Daiana!  love, love, love! :D
Who kicks ass?! :D She's FHM's Cover Girl last October! :D So I didn't miss the chance getting her signature over my mag. She even gave my sister a copy of the magazine and signed it herself. She's soooooooo kind. :) My brother got really envy for not coming with us. :)) He hates make-up, yeah right. :p
see more pictures on their facebook page, click here. :)
Yummy merienda and coolers were served! :)
I have to give credits to their team because they were so accommodating. They treated us nicely and well. :) I'd like to thank the marketing manager, Niño Mas and the brand manager, Mark Charles Salecina for helping us experience such once in a lifetime moment. :D I hope there will be more promos to come like this :p And, also we'd like to thank their make up artists, Totie and Anna. They really did an awesome job. :) To Ms. Daiana Menezes, for having such a kind heart. She's really a sweetheart. I really hope to see her again soon. :)
Oh by the way, our pictures together with an article will be released on December in different magazines! (MOD magazine, Mega etc.) Yay! It's part of the Red Lipstick Promotion next month. How cool is that?! :D
Finally, the photoshoot bonding experience is done and yes, we went home wearing the alluring red lipstick and big smiles on our faces! We had so much fun together and we really can't wait to see that fun onto the glossy paper! :D
Thanks for reading! Catch y'all again soon! :)
Zombie Make-up Tutorial: Zombabe! :D
I still can't believe that my first make-up tutorial here in my blog would start with a ZOMBIE look! LOL I was actually thinking before that I am going to do something like a sweet-romantic-on-a-date look or maybe more like dramatic make-up for night-outs. :D
Oh well, since we are now counting the days before the Halloween season, I guess it's now time to take-off that pretty face of yours and turn it to a most haunting and horrifying creature(or whatever you want to portray :D) on earth! LOL
like her.. a ZOMBABE :p
Zombies are classic. They are the timeless characters that you wanna watch over and over in a t.v series or in a movie. And tell me who is not guilty of playing it on a computer game. :p Those maybe some of reasons why I chose to recreate my own version of the living dead. Of course, to make it not so boring, I made it seductive, sexy and kinda lustful before eyes.. LMAO She's definitely not the old and boring type of zombie who just eat flesh around and gets a headshot. :D She's definitely hot and loves to play(before grabbing you for dinner bwahaha :D)
Now, let's start!
FOUNDATION
STEP 1: Get a lighter foundation and a baby powder. Blend the powder and your regular foundation on your palm. The warmth of your palm will help your foundation to blend easily with the powder. Apply evenly on your face and wherever your skin is exposing. You don't have to be flawless. Your skin should look rough and dusty that's why we mixed the baby powder with the foundation. I'm skipping the concealer. I want all my imperfections on my face this time. :D
Materials used:  Johnson's baby powder, Maybelline Clear smooth minerals, Clinique perfectly real make-up
THE MAKING OF ARTIFICIAL WOUNDS
Step 2: In making the artificial wounds, I used a baby powder and a paper glue (much better if you use a lash glue). Squeeze the powder twice or so (it depends on how many wounds you are going to create) and pour a little bit of glue in a small container. Your glue should be enough to absorb the powder. Blend it well using a toothpick and apply it on your face using the same stick. Try to be creative in making wounds. Make a small and big spots at the center of your wounds and leave it untouched. Wait until it dries.
Materials used: Johnson's baby powder, Prince Brand Clear Glue
EYESHADOW
Step 3: While waiting for your artificial wounds to dry, start now with your eyeshadow. First, lightly dab the navy blue eyeshadow on your face or wherever part you want to zombify your skin. :D Then, lightly strike the navy blue shadow with a red brown eyeshadow. This will create an illusion of bruises. Anyways, you may now notice my hairband. I wore it because my hair was messing up with the glue on my face. LOL :D
Materials used: Ever Bilena Cosmetics Collection Set-A, Careline Eyeshadow & Blusher
___________________________________________________________________________
Step 4: With the red brown eyeshadow, apply it around the perimeter of your eyes. Gently blend it in a circular motion.
Materials used: Careline Eyeshadow & Blusher
___________________________________________________________________________
Step 5: With your darkest brown eyeshadow, apply it as well around the circle of your eyes. Keep the red brown shadow peaking. In my case, I use a coffee color to substitute my dark brown shadow.
Materials used: Nichido Eyebrow Liner Duo Kit
____________________________________________________________________
Step 6: Using your darkest black eyeshadow, apply it on your eyelids as well as underneath your eyes. To get the color more intense, I wet my brush before  dabbing it on my eyeshadow.
Materials used: Ever Bilena Eyehadow Cleo
__________________________________________________________________________
LIPS
Step 7: I swear I didn't paid so much attention on my lips. I just wanted it to look it creepy yet sexy. LOL Apply the black pencil liner on your inner lips. Also, apply the dark pink lipstick to create a gothic look. Cover it with a lipgloss.
Materials used: Nichido Girls Night-out Blackest Black 01, Ever Bilena Cosmetic Collection Set-A, Wet n' Wild Lipgloss
__________________________________________________________________________
GOING BACK TO ARTIFICIAL WOUNDS..
Step 8: By this time, your artificial wounds are already dry(if not, try drying it in front of your e-fan, it works for me :D). Wet your brush, gently dab it on your black eyeshadow and apply it on your artificial wounds. If you used a black glue, you may want to skip this step. :)
Materials used: Ever Bilena Eyehadow Cleo
___________________________________________________________________________
Step 9: With your light brown eyeshadow or a tan shade, use your finger to dab it on top of the black shadow. The color becomes more pigmented if you are using your finger instead of brush in applying eyeshadows.
Material used: Careline Eyeshadow & Blusher
___________________________________________________________________________
Step 10: Finally, you may now shade all the spots that we left untouched earlier with a dark brown pencil liner. And using the dark pink lipstick(use something like a bloodshot color), the one I also used on my lips earlier, get the color using your lip brush, pour a little bit of lipgloss and dip it on the spots of your artificial wound. Lip brush is more easier to use because you can shade the smaller spots. :)
Materials used: Ever Bilena Perfect Eyebrow Dark Brown,  Ever Bilena Cosmetic Collection Set-A, Wet n' Wild Lipgloss
__________________________________________________________________________
When you're done, wear your sexiest dress and don't forget your red stiletto. Dress to kill babe! Rawr! :))
I hope you enjoyed my first tutorial. Have fun and Happy Halloween to ya'll! :)
Lootbags: Sent! #ThankyouEverBilenafortheawesomemakeup :)
We won! :D
Remember a month ago when I posted about joining in Bestfriend's Delight promo in facebook? Your click on the like button of our photo entry made us winners! And I am so greatful to tell you guys that me and my sister are now enjoying the goodies from Ever Bilena Cosmetics. :)
These 'lootboxes' were sent via LBC, last Friday early morning at our house. One for me, and one for my best sister on earth! :D
Can I just thank the one who wrapped these boxes so neatly? :D I really appreciate the effort! hihi I dunno but I really love seeing a gift that is wrapped up so creatively and neatly :)
I know, it took me a while to blog about this promo like I said I would update you as soon as we won. It's because I was still waiting for them to drop the lootbags on our doorsteps :p and of course, we're still kinda waiting for the photoshoot with the latest FHM cover girl and gorgeous Ever Bilena model, Ms. Daiana Menezes! :D
Anyways, I know you ladies are now excited to see the beautifiers which we got from winning. And I am also so excited to share it with you! :D Now, meet my new babies.. :)
EB Advance lighting Lipgloss
I still can't get over with this lighting lipgloss! It's captivating red color is so perfect on my lips! :D The lighting effect is so crazy! So cool! :)) The light automatically turns on whenever you lift-up the cap. (I know you can imagine me saying these words. I sounded crazy! LOL ) forgive me if I really can't get over it. :p :D They sent me two glosses but my girl friend took one of it IN-A-WINK-OF-AN-EYE. That fast! LOL! I'm so excited to use it in a fun night-out! :)
EB Extreme Lipstick
They sent each of us two of my fave lipstick! Yay! I am so lucky that the colors are different from what I've already boughtAmbrosia and Adore U added in my extremes collection. :D Sorry but I'm not gonna say more about these lipsticks for now because I'm planning to give it an exclusive review soon. :)
EB Advance Sheer Compact Powder
I must say that I am a bit 'choosy' when it comes to getting the right compact powders because I believe that picking the wrong one could instantly bring little enemies on your entire face. LOL! (yep, I've been there! :p) So, for this one, I will probably try using it first for a month or weeks before giving my full review or recommending it to anyone. Anyways, I've already tried using it once, and so far it didn't cause my face any irritation, no cakey finish, less oiliness the entire day and lightweight feeling on face. So far, it's doing a good job.
EB Garden Flowers
Geez! I swear, these colognes reminded me of my Victoria Secret Perfume. The packaging is so VS! LOL Maybe it is part of their marketing strategy. They sent me two bottles. Yay! Scents are Cherry Blossom and Apple Blossom. I love it's sweet scents (reminded me again of err.. :p ) but it doesn't really lasts that long. If you wish to have an inexpensive cologne but has almost-same-smell like VS :p, then this is a great substitute for the expensive one. :D
EB Cheek Blush with UVA/UVB Protection
Just like picking the right foundation for my face, I am also picky when it comes to choosing a blush. It's my first time to use this one and I'm quiet amaze that they were able to choose the right blush color that's perfect for my skin color! :D I also love the fact that it is formulated to provide the much needed sun protection as well as infused with Vit E, C, and K to moisturize, soften, and enhance your radiance. I guess I found my new blush. I am ready to dump my old one. :)
EB Cosmetic Collection
OMG! Thank you EB for this because I've been actually eyeing this one whenever I go to the mall. I really wanted to buy one for myself but I was also thinking if they will include this in my lootbag. LOL! I got really excited when I saw this one. I really love the colors of the eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick! So perfect! :D You'll be surprise if I tell you that all my photos above are colored by this awesome pallete. :D
More vanity photos using this Cosmetic Collection.. :D
Again, Me and my sister would like to thank everyone who liked our photoentry. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much! This is an early birthday gift for me so thank you so much guys. :)
And oh, who will forget the one who took our awesome photos which we submitted in EB fanpage? LOL! It's my dear cousin, kuya RB. Thank you beks! Mwah! :D I hope we can bring you in the shoot. :)
And yes, the photoshoot is coming real soon! *Excited* Of course, I wont forget to update y'all about the happenings. :)
Anyways I hope you enjoyed our gifts as much as we are enjoying it. :p Have you tried using any of the make-up in our lootbags? Tell me which one do you like most. :)
